I am using this blog to document my journey as a gardener. I began my first vegetable garden in Spring 2011 in Austin, Texas. The bacillus thuringiensis v. kurstaki works pretty well if it isn't expired and you reapply it regularly and/or after rains. Mine is a year old and I haven't been very regular in applying it. Mainly I've been hand-plucking beasties after it gets dark. Best time to find them. A headlamp helps.
